After a sumptuous breakfast, a drive of 2.5 hours will take the tourists northward toward Alexandria, the founded coastal and beautiful city of Alexander.

Entering the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa is one of those rare occasions when an underground necropolis unites Pharaonic, Greek, and Roman forms of art. The tour will then proceed to the sights of Pompey’s Pillar and the Roman Amphitheater, ending with the Citadel of Qaitbay built over the remains of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Finally, transfer back to Cairo and overnight.

Move on to enjoy a beautiful sunset-evening visit to the Karnak Temple Complex, allegedly the world’s largest. This era will have many grabs of wonder, ranging from the tall temple columns down to the sacred lake and gargantuan sculptures.

On a longer-than-usual road journey, a stay at an all-inclusive beach resort is awaiting you somewhere in Hurghada, Red Sea, after nearly four hours of land commute from Luxor.

The remainder hours are for your own leisure. Just lie down on those golden sands with the sun warming up your face, or take a buoyant drift in those enticing dark-blue waters.
